Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML):

Intelligence is a combination of logical and analytical thinking and understanding, reasoning capacity of problem solving. Basically it is an ability to recognize the information, and apply it for getting the results. AI consists of two words artificial and intelligence. It means it is manmade intelligence or thinking ability. Here one more term is important i.e. Machine Learning (ML), which means capability of machine to learn from past experience and information. ML is a part of artificial learning. In ML, past data is collected, analyzed and generated the results by minimum human involvement. ML involves functions like data mining, data processing, developing or deriving algorithms, train the module, and integration. AI and MI both terms are co-related to each other. AI provides an ability to machines to learn with the help of ML. These are the new age technologies and can be used in any sector. When the data size is huge and difficult to handle manually, AI and ML can be used. Artificial Intelligence can be categorized as weak AI, general AI and strong AI. Currently we are using weak AI and general AI. The strong AI is the future of AI technology. Machine Learning can be categorized as supervised learning, unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning.  For example, on Google Map, we noticed a female voice saying ‘take a right turn after 300 meters, then go straight’. It is a good example of Artificial Intelligence, where google map instruct driver, suggest the alternate route, inform about road condition etc. Actually, AI is a branch of computer science, which develops machines having capacities like human intelligence. Basic objective of AI, is to substitute human intelligence. It is also a cost reduction and cost control technique. AI and ML are major driving forces of fourth industrial revolution i.e. Industry 4.0. Due to digitalization of information, the size of information and data is increased. Hence, AI is significant to use that data in proper way.
